The final agreement (DR-CAFTA) was signed by all parties on August 5,\n2004. The Dominican Republic would have its own market access provisions, but would accept the\nrest of the CAFTA framework. Legislation to implement DR-CAFTA might be considered in the\n109th Congress. This report will be updated as developments occur.",
